As you might know, in that mod, you can find a lot of companions, which are a mixture of animals and humans. But what you can find here are not just companions. You can also find new characters that can live in your world as town NPCs.

Now, if you want to have companions, you can find the type of companions that are based on the mod name. In this case, you will find a mixture of human with animal creatures, called the TerraGuardians.
